BUSS1000's older sibling. Instead of writing bs consulting reports you'll be writing a lot of reflections about yourself. However, the content is actually interesting during certain weeks and sometimes teaches things that have real life application. A large chunk of marks comes from groupwork assignments, but groups are randomly assigned so you'll have to pray to get good teammates. Marking for this unit is oddly harsh and pedantic but it'll depend on your tutor. Still a solid step above BUSS1000.
Actually a high quality, thought provoking subject. Much better than BUSS1000. What BUSS1000 should have been actually.
Significantly better than BUSS1000. You get what you put in with this subject. Like someone else has said, some of the weeks are actually very interesting (I find it's those that have more of a psychology element, rather than the weeks with more obvious content such as graduate qualities or job searching techniques). Marks can vary across tutorials, average in this course is a credit but they do not disclose average for each assignment tasks.
It's a super boring subject in my opinion. The content is not challenging but a bit of a drag. Tutot was super energetic and into it, though.
You have to take the subject, so there's not getting out of it (It continues to be a bunch of BS as an extension of BUSS1000). If there's one thing I suggest it's to try being paired with *Michael Fernando* as your tutor. He brings soooo much energy to the tutorial rooms. He's not just gonna give away marks, but I genuinely felt so much happier and motivated after leaving his class (even tho it was a 6pm end).
